The Basic Handgun Online Firearm Safety Course provides owners with the understanding and familiarization needed to become more confident and competent as firearm owners.
As an introductory course, you'll learn the fundamentals of safely owning, using, and caring for a handgun through various topics, including disassembly, cleaning, clearing malfunctions, and more.
Our Basic Firearms Safety Course is designed to complement your unique schedule, is self-paced, and has no minimum time requirements. The final exam will be available at the end of this course and be passed for completion to receive your digital certificate of completion.
- Class Objective: The primary goal of our Basic Firearms Safety Course is to provide firearm owners with the knowledge necessary to safely and confidently describe the cycle of operations and parts for handguns, identify and clear common malfunctions, learn about the different grip/aim/stance methods, and proper loading/unloading procedures.

Great and Patient Instructors
Mick, James, Dave. Thank you for not giving up on me. You never made me feel inferior and I ended up understanding. I can't say enough about how great the class was. I can't recommend it enough. I'd give it more stars if I could.

Amazing Course Incredible Instructor
Before this course I knew nothing about guns, I was a complete newbie. Yohance was so thorough, kind and patient with my learning. I would reccomend this class to everyone! The classroom portion is amazing and really made me feel comfortable and confident around handguns...it really demistified the whole thing. However, it was not until the range part where Yohance really shined, the noise and recoil heightened my nerves, but he was so supportive and patient that by the end I was hitting headshots at 10M! I feel really confident now and I owe it all to Yohance and his fundamentals class

Basic Done Right!
I took the Basic Handgun class given by instructor Mike Wilkerson at the O'Fallon, MO Range USA. This was an excellent class with about 3 hours classroom and 1 hour range instruction with an emphasis on safety throughout. It covered typical pistol and wheel gun components, ammunition, and uses. Mike's presentation was not only very informative but also entertaining, keeping your attention and interest high! Mike explained the "Whats" and the "Hows" in each topic, but he also explained the "Whys" so you really understood the concepts. AND he encouraged questions! I especially liked his "Light bulb" moments and "Uhm....." moments because it made you really think about the concepts presented and to look for those moments in the future. Mike covered proper conceal carry methods, misfire correction procedures, proper hand/grip placement, sighting, and stance styles. For a Basic class, it was very thorough. Mike is an excellent instructor and I would highly recommend this class to anyone, beginner or experienced shooter. You can always learn something new!

Take This Class before CCL
Take this class before you even shoot a gun, Its really good. It says it take along time but Is really sooth and you will get alot out of it if you never shot a gun or even if you are going to get your carry.

Knowledge is the best weapon
Excellent course for beginners like me. It starts by introducing the founder, then takes you through everything you need to learn. Simple language and plenty of time to finish.
